What this website is for

This site describes the work offered under the name Casa Luz and allows visitors to make contact. Nothing is sold through this website and no payment is taken here.

Casa Luz is not a healthcare centre, and its owner is not a registered health professional and does not belong to any professional health association. What is offered here is not a diagnosis, not medical treatment and not psychotherapy. It does not replace medical or psychological care, and nothing on this site should be understood as a recommendation to begin, change or stop any treatment. Decisions about your health remain yours, together with the professionals who care for you.

Conditions of use

Access to this website is free. By using it you agree to do so lawfully and in good faith, and not in any way that could damage the site, its owner or third parties.

Intellectual property

The texts, images, design and other elements of this website belong to Robin Klein or are used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property law. They may not be reproduced, distributed, publicly communicated or altered without express written consent.

Liability

The owner keeps the information on this site as accurate and current as possible, but does not guarantee that it is free of errors, nor that the site is available without interruption. The owner accepts no responsibility for the use visitors make of the information published here, nor for the content of external websites that may be linked.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the courts of the owner’s place of residence shall have jurisdiction, unless consumer protection law provides for a different venue.

What data is collected, and where it comes from

Only the data you provide yourself, when you write through the contact form, by email, or by phone:

your name — a first name is enough
your email address
the content of your message

No data is obtained from any other source, and none is bought, rented or received from third parties.

About health information. The contact form does not ask about your health. If you choose to describe your situation and this includes information about your health, that information constitutes a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR and is treated with the same protection it would receive at a medical practice. It is read by the controller alone.

Why it is processed

To read your message, to reply to it, and where appropriate to arrange a session with you. For nothing else. Your data is never used for advertising, no profiles are created from it, and no decisions are taken about you by automated means.

Legal basis

Your explicit consent, given by ticking the box on the contact form (Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR).
In addition, for ordinary personal data, the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@casa-luz.eu. Doing so does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Whether you have to provide it

Providing your email address and your message is necessary in order to receive an answer; without them there is no way to reply to you. Giving your name is optional. There is no obligation to provide any information about your health, and choosing not to has no consequence for you.

How long it is kept

Your message remains in the controller’s mailbox for as long as the exchange between you continues, and for a maximum of 12 months after the last contact, after which it is deleted. If you ask for it to be deleted sooner, it is deleted without delay.

The website’s outgoing mail log is switched off, so messages are not stored in the website’s database.

Who else receives it

No one, apart from the provider required for the website and the email account to function:

IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany — web hosting and email service, acting as a data processor under a contract that meets Article 28 of the GDPR.

No personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. No data is disclosed to third parties, except where required by law.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Email is sent and received over an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS). The mailbox is protected by a password held only by the controller, and access to the website’s administration is likewise restricted to the controller.

Cookies

This website does not use analytical, advertising or social media cookies, does not profile visitors, and loads no resources from third-party servers — the typefaces are served from this website’s own server. As a visitor you are therefore not tracked in any way, and no consent banner is required.

Strictly technical session cookies may be created for the site administrator when signing in to the administration area. These are necessary for the service to function, are not used for any other purpose, and do not affect visitors.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, its portability, and you may object to its processing. You may also withdraw the consent you have given.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@casa-luz.eu stating which right you wish to exercise. You will receive an answer within one month.

If you consider that your data has not been handled in accordance with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency:
